BASIC FUNCTION:
Under the direction of the Recreation Coordinator, the Cooking Instructor will lead a Youth Cooking class. The cooking class is an introductory course for kids ages 7-12. The instructor is responsible for instructing approximately 6-10 participants on simple, beginner recipes that the participants could possibly cook on their own at home. The class is meant to be hands-on for the participants. Experience working with a cooking classroom setting is not a requirement but is desirable.

On duty a maximum of 40 hours per week. Guards are responsible for notifying Beach Supervisor if they are scheduled for more than 40 hours per week with the City of Federal Way.
