Federal Way is a city of 89,460 residents with a Police Department comprised of 153 employees, of which 125 are sworn law enforcement personnel and 28 are civilians. The department is a nationally accredited, full-service law enforcement agency providing police services for the citizens, business owners and visitors of the City of Federal Way. Our agency is divided into four primary divisions: administration, patrol, investigations and civilian operations.
