If you find a pet that does not belong to you, please provide it the best care you can as someone is looking for them. Please call 253.835.7387 or email us and leave a detailed message including a good description (picture if available), area you located them and the date and time found, as well as your contact information. It is our goal to reunite families as quickly as possible and with your assistance we will be successful.
If you have located a stray dog or cat and cannot provide temporary shelter until the Animal Services Officer can pick it up, we ask you bring it directly to "The Humane Society for Tacoma & Pierce County" which is located at 2608 Center St, Tacoma WA 98409-7694.
If you are able to provide temporary shelter please call (253) 835-PETS and we will make arrangements with you to pick up during normal business hours.

On 020613 at approx 5:15 pm, at the corner of 35 AV SW and SW 330 ST in the Twin Lakes area. The is very friendly and well groomed. No collar.

3400 SW 340 ST Located JAN 27 2013 and has kept at her location.
ATTEMPT to find the Owner:
White long haired small-med size dog, possibly a large Lhasa Apso mix.
Found in the vicinity of 35th and 340th SW, Federal Way. Very skittish.
Appears to have a left eye injury.

On the evening of 01/01/13 the pictured Sheltie was found (Approx 6:00pm).
Location was SW 336th Way and 26th Pl SW, near the Twin Lakes Shopping Center. She was on the north side of SW 336th Way heading East towards the shopping center . Female dog, not sure of age. Is wearing a purple collar with black trim on both sides. No tags. Dog is multi colored (brown, tan and white). Very friendly and loving.

DEC 3 - 3PM - Federal Way Animal Services Officer found this male mixed breed dog in the area of Pacific Hwy South and 336th. He appears to be uninjured, but was taken to the Tacoma Humane Society for his own safety.
